Do whatever it takes to improve yourself!

On this day, 20/6/20 is the day I chose to really start working on my own mental health, and this blog will serve as a space where I am going to share all my thoughts with the world that wants to hear them!

Appetite is ageless

Mental health and appetite

We’ve all experienced low mood, it’s nothing new. Many people deal with bad moments in their life by binge eating, while others find themselves eating nothing at all. This is obviously a huge problem in both cases.

Exercise

When I was in college I was not very happy with the way my body looked, due to my not getting much exercise and not eating enough, so I tried to do what I’m doing now: I tried to eat right, and to work out as much as I could. That did not work out in the long run, but I managed to do it for a whole of six months, and actually felt fairly happy with how I looked, even though it was not a huge change. But I got distracted by other things, and I fell out of the habit of working out.

BLEND IT

I’m an agonizingly slow eater. I can sometimes take up to an hour or more to eat my dinner, because I have to eat quite a lot and my body just doesn’t want all that food. Thankfully there’s a way to make a meal come down faster and that is to blend it.

The beginning

Hello again, world.
It’s about time I started reaching outside my own flat, both physically and metaphorically. So here we begin, on this random Saturday afternoon - I even believe this is one of my first actual text-posts on tumblr… crazy.

I’ve never really wanted to voice my opinion on a lot of things, because I believed that I would forever just be shouting into the void. I’m going to prove to myself that it’s not the case. Recently I’ve stumbled over courses on Skillshare and the likes, and found that the only true way of improving yourself, and breaking the habit, is by just jumping at the things you want to do, and not being so scared of it.

I’ve always been a fairly creative mind, much more so than I like to give myself credit for. I’ve always had lots of ideas of things I’d like to do, but never had the courage or even the motivation to actually do them (since I believed I would be shouting into the void), but now it’s time to change that.
